Our Story

The Exit Games was born from the father-son duo, Frank and Josh, before Tay came on board in October 2016. Josh and Tay took on their first escape room 4 years ago in Boston and immediately became hooked! The two have now done over 90 escape rooms across the world.

The gang is originally from Mooresville, North Carolina and decided on opening in Wilmington, NC after Josh and Tay graduated from UNCW's Cameron School of Business. Frank was a Sales Manager with Altria for over 30 years before retiring and deciding to use his business and carpentry skills to team up with Josh to build our immersive escape rooms.

With almost 3 years under our belt in Wilmington, our crew is ready to take on the next adventure with our second location in Clearwater, FL!
